All my life I have been brought up to believe
that, music is something that should be cherished and treasured. The gift of music,
in my eyes just simply wonderful. To be
able to play one simply little note and make that simple little note sound wonderful, wow!!
I love all kinds of music, but my heart
is in country. My roots are with Bluegrass, and country. I was brought up on Bluegrass.
The greats, Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Tony
Rice, Ricky Skaggs, I am sure there are others that I could name that I just can't think of at the
moment. Well in 1999 or around that time, I fell
in love with this new voice... The name of the song was "Who needs pictures." By: Brad Paisley,
I didn't even know the name of the song, let
alone the guy who sang that song. Well it was when I went off to school that I finnaly learned who
it was that did that song. I was
finally thrilled, to learn who it was that did that song. Well as the years went on, so did my
love and appriciate for
Brad and his music. It was 4 years ago
that I found his fan club on line. It took me that long to find it. Shame on me, lol. Well on July
9, 2006 I
finnaly got to see Brad LIVE... DANG, he knocked
my socks off, and I wasn't even wearing any lol, had on sandles... June 8, 2007 was my second
show. I am here to say that I can't wait
till the show of 2008. I really do wish with all my heart that I was able to get to more then just one Brad
show. I just don't have the money to do
that. My heart is with him at every show though. I will continue to support him and listen to his music for years
to come.
